Free Kite Making Workshop!

The Austin Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite you to our annual Kite Workshop Events. This year the department will be hosting 4 events leading up to the 84th annual Zilker Kite Festival on March 4th, 2012. The events are as follows: Saturday, February 4th at Pan Am Recreation Center Saturday, February 11th at Dove Springs Recreation Center Saturday, February 18th at South Austin Recreation Center Saturday, February 25th at Northwest Recreation Center All events are free of charge and will begin at 1:00pm

Fly on by and learn how to make a kite for the 84th annual Zilker Kite Festival. Children will have the opportunity to make multiple kites and then fly them in the park! All materials are provided, ages 5 and up. Please contact Kelly Maltsberger if you have any questions regarding any of the Kite Workshops or any of the scheduled events and activities.
